2019 Scholarship Awards Presentation

The Rancho Cucamonga Community & Arts Foundation awarded 8 scholarships for the 2018/2019 school year, ranging from $500 – $1000 to graduating high school seniors who are pursuing the arts. The students represent the high schools of Etiwanda, Los Osos, Rancho Cucamonga High, and United Christian Academy. A total of $4,000 was awarded to the students, including one scholarship presented in the name of Kailee Rose, a young lady who participated in Community Theatre performances at the Lewis Family Playhouse who passed away in 2018. Her family provided the scholarship in her name for the 2nd year.

The Awards Presentation was held at the RCCAAF Board Meeting at City Hall on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 attended by the students and their families.  Board Members Al Argüello and Tina Chen, who served on the scholarship selection committee, presented the awards. The students who received a scholarship award are as follows:

Zianya Butler, Los Osos High School – Visual Arts/Painting

Logan Crafton, Los Osos High School – Performing Arts/Music

Benjamin Huso, Etiwanda High School – Performing Arts/Music

Caliane Le, Rancho Cucamonga High School – Visual Arts/Painting

Zan Lian, Rancho Cucamonga High School – Visual Arts/Painting

Mikaella Marquez, Rancho Cucamonga High School – Visual Arts/Drawing

Mikayla Mays, United Christian Academy – Visual Arts/Photography

Hailey Siefkes, Los Osos High School – Performing Arts/Vocal Music-Dance

The Rancho Cucamonga Community & Arts Foundation provides student scholarships annually for students pursuing education in the arts field. Applications are available on the RCCAAF website beginning in January 2020.
