Arts & Education

The Foundation believes strongly in the importance of arts education and experience for all ages, particularly children.  The Foundation offers a variety of programs to assist families and schools so that more children can experience the excitement and wonder of the arts.  Current programs include:

PlayPartners Program – This incredibly valuable program offers free or low cost tickets for school children to attend professional theatre productions by the MainStreet Theatre Company, and other youth-friendly performances offered at the Lewis Family Playhouse during the school year.  The PlayPartners program is largely funded by grants and corporate donors who share our Foundation’s mission to provide affordable access to the arts for youth and families.  For more information on how to apply for PlayPartners funding for your school, contact the Box Office a the Lewis Family Playhouse at (909) 477-2752.

Foundation Family Saturdays & Flex Packs – Because we encourage families to attend the theatre together, the Foundation assists families with discounted ticket prices to all MainStreet Theatre Company productions at the Lewis Family Playhouse!  With the Foundation’s support, the opening Saturday performance for all MainStreet shows are only $10 per ticket!  Can’t make opening weekend, we’ve still got you covered!  The Foundation Family Flex Packs offer discounted tickets at only $12 each when purchasing 4 or more tickets (up to 8) to any single performance.  Discounts available when purchasing your tickets at the Lewis Family Playhouse Box Office.  See MainStreet’s 2019 Season productions here.

High School Arts Sponsorship Program – The Foundation offers small sponsorships of up to $500 each Fall to assist high school arts classes and programs with needed supplies, equipment, or materials that further enhance or advance the program.  Sponsorship information and applications are available here.
