Upscaled Projects! \nWood Lab: Learning with Hand Tools \nNovember 23-25\, 2026 – Enrollment link here \nDecember 21-23\, 2026 – Enrollment link here \nDecember 28-30\, 2026 – Enrollment link here \nDays: Monday-Wednesday \nTime: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm \nLocation: 5131 Carnelian St.\, Rancho Cucamonga\, CA 91701\, lower campus on Hidden Farm RdCost Per Week: Members $275\, Non-members $310\, NARM members $275.Ages: 8 to 12 \nCampers will safely explore woodworking fundamentals and gain hands-on experience with tools and materials. Inspired by the legacy of Sam Maloof and Alfreda Maloof\, students will connect craftsmanship with community history while developing dexterity\, focus\, and pride. Activities include handwork\, a tour of the historic house\, and access to Sam Maloof’s furniture collection. Join us for an unforgettable building experience! \nPlease note: Students will work with pre-cut softwood such as pine and cardboard\, as well as hammers\, mallets\, screwdrivers\, saws\, clamps\, vices\, and fasteners. Students must wear safety gear such as goggles and face masks. \nAges (8-9): Pre-cut wood and tools such as hammers\, mallets\, screwdrivers\, sandpaper\, glue\, non-motorized hand drills\, and clamps. Learn about safety equipment\, including wearing eye protection and proper attire. \nAges (10-12): Pre-cut wood; hand tools such as measuring tape\, hand saw\, hammer\, glue\, fasteners\, clamps\, vice\, adding parts\, using cordless drills\, and hand-held screwdrivers.
