This process creates stunning\, elegant silhouette art. \nIn this workshop led by Maloof Teaching Artist Crystal Rodriguez\, participants will learn how to mix the essential chemicals needed to achieve vibrant exposures to a variety of materials\, including fabric\, paper\, and wood. Attendees will leave with a one-of-a-kind piece that embraces an early form of photography and captures the beauty of nature.

DESCRIPTION:Doug Smith served as a wildlife biologist at Yellowstone National Park for nearly three decades and studied everything from beavers to birds. Most importantly\, he led the Yellowstone Wolf Project\, which reintroduced gray wolves to the park. He’s written numerous scientific publications and has been featured in four National Geographic television specials. He has also written and edited several books about the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem\, including the 2023 book: Yellowstone’s Birds: Diversity and Abundance in the World’s First National Park. \nYellowstone National Park contains many stories\, including one of the best-case studies in wildlife conservation. This program explores how the landscape has changed since the wolves arrived\, including never-before-seen photos and videos of the quest to bring back this apex predator. \nNo live animals will be present.
