DESCRIPTION:Beginning Wheel Throwing with Isabella • $350\nSundays\, October 19- November 23\, 2025 • 2:30 -5:00 PM • In-person\nThis course is designed to teach the fundamentals of working with clay on the potter’s wheel–no prior experience is necessary. Students will be introduced to basic throwing shapes\, as well as the follow-up steps of trimming\, handle making\, and glazing. \nCourses meet once a week with an instructor for 2.5 hours (15 hours of total instructor time). Explore the magic of photography through its most fundamental form: camera obscura\, aka the pinhole image. Camera obscura is a naturally occurring optical phenomenon that has inspired and has been implemented by artists and scientists over many centuries. In this workshop\, you will use pin-hole cameras\, created by Photo-10 students using upcycled materials to create your very own black and white photograph in the darkroom.  \nIt’s equal parts DIY\, slow photography\, and gaffers tape—perfect for anyone curious about light and time.
