SUMMARY:Seussical - Valverde Stage Production Inc.
DESCRIPTION:August 3 – August 11\, 2024 \nNow one of the most performed shows in America\, Seussical is a fantastical\, magical\, musical extravaganza! Tony winners\, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Lucky Stiff\, My Favorite Year\, Once on This Island\, Ragtime)\, have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters\, including Horton the Elephant\, The Cat in the Hat\, Gertrude McFuzz\, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination – Jojo. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. \n\nThe Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton\, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos\, including Jojo\, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many “thinks.” Horton faces a double challenge: not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers\, but he must guard an abandoned egg\, left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule\, danger\, kidnapping and a trial\, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately\, the powers of friendship\, loyalty\, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant. \nThanks to generous support from the Rancho Cucamonga Community & Arts Foundation\, we are offering youth tickets (for children 12 and under) $7.50 off the regular price! Every person\, regardless of age\, needs a ticket to attend a performance at the Lewis Family Playhouse. Children must be able to sit independently in their own seat for the duration of the show. Babes in arms are not permitted.

SUMMARY:The Kings of Queen
DESCRIPTION:The Kings of Queen is the hottest Queen tribute in the country\, if not the world. Given that he’s been dubbed as the reincarnated Freddie Mercury\, frontman Emo Alaeddin is quite the spectacle. Although there may be others\, no other Queen tribute comes close to The Kings of Queen. Equally important to sounding like Queen\, the frontman Emo Alaeddin has a striking resemblance to Freddie Mercury. He’s got the looks and also the flair\, the moves\, and the replica outfits. If you’re looking for the sound\, energy\, look\, and feel of Queen then The Kings of Queen is the band for you!
