Saturday, October 5
10am-2pm
Join us at this free workshop featuring drop-in workshops presented in concert with
Reading Room: Zines, Comix, & Other Radical Texts, currently on view at the Wignall Museum. Artists Felix Quintana will share the joy of cyanotype, an experimental photography method; Rebecca Ustrell (Curious Publishing) will lead a workshop on Experimental Bookbinding; and artists Funchicken (Mark Todd and Esther Pearl Watson) will lead participants on a Garbage Zine adventure, making zines using found and fun discarded materials. All workshops are free and open to the public, as space allows, and are drop-in between the hours of 10am-2pm. Presented in collaboration between the Wignall Museum, the Arts Area/Curious Publishing, CalWORKS/CARE/EOPS, and the Chaffey College Photo Department.
