The PAL Campaign, initiated in 2003, was a collaborative fundraising effort between the Rancho Cucamonga Community Foundation, the Rancho Cucamonga Library Foundation, and the City of Rancho Cucamonga to raise funds for the greatly desired future Victoria Gardens Cultural Center. The campaign raised nearly $6 million over its initial 7-year effort, and the major campaign was concluded in 2011, five years following the opening of the Cultural Center in 2006. At that time, the funds raised through the campaign were dispersed between the two Foundations to continue to provide ongoing support for the programming & operations at the Cultural Center, which houses the Biane Library and Lewis Family Playhouse.
All PAL Donors were recognized as Spotlight Donors, acknowledging stepped giving levels from $5,000 to $1,000,000+. RCCAAF officially ended the PAL Fundraising Campaign in 2023, and the Community & Arts Foundation has continued to acknowledge consistent PAL and new donors who have contributed to RCCAAF from 2003 through 2023 – twenty years of generous giving! These funds continue to provide ongoing support of the Cultural Center and arts programming at the Lewis Family Playhouse, as well as benefitting our local schools, arts organizations, and arts students.
The following are the PAL Spotlight Donors who helped us raise millions of dollars for the arts and literacy through 20 years of the PAL campaign, along with many other donors who gave anywhere from $100 on up. You will also find the Spotlight Donors names located on the Donor Wall in the main lobby of the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center.
