Breath + Brush, a Somatic Expression Workshop

C O N N E C T | with self and others. ………… Expressive art is a tool, requires no talent or previous experience. Focused upon process over product, expressive art can help: -reduce stress and felt anxiety -nurture emotional growth -develop interoceptive awareness -improve feelings of overall wellness Experience the impact of expressive art for emotional wellness and GATHER for this Wellness Workshop facilitated by Sarah Patterson, a Certified Expressive Arts Practitioner and National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, owner of CERASart-a mobile expressive art coaching studio. With the added bonus of breath work and body movement, provided through Xhale Yoga Studio, a complete wellness transformation awaits your YES! ………… What to expect: Thematic expressive art for this Sunday Series is titled: NEURAL FLOW | art for the brain. Participants will utilize chalk and oil pastels, play dough and other artist mediums to work through process art designed to integrate the brain and shift stages of the stress cycle. Engagement draws from evidenced based neuroscience research, positive intelligence, somatic experiencing and health education. All materials are provided. Adults and mature teens are welcome to attend. Tickets are available through Eventbrite and are limited. Event takes place inside a yoga studio, where shoes will remain in the lobby.
