Calaveras: A Community Exhibition

October 28 @ 8:00 am 5:00 pm

CALAVERAS: A Community Exhibition

October 28 – December 7, 2024 in CAA Student Gallery, Rancho Campus, and Instagram @chaffeystudentgallery

The calavera, or “skull” in Spanish, has become one of the most recognizable cultural and artistic elements of el Día de Muertos (the Day of the Dead) tradition. The Calaveras on view were designed and ornamented by students, faculty, and staff in the Chaffey College community on all three campuses. Thank you to the many contributors and creators. This exhibition was organized by the Wignall Museum of Contemporary Art and the Center for Culture and Social Justice.
