Board Member Jim Harrington concluded his third term on the RCCAAF board in December to fully focus on his new role as City Treasurer for the City of Rancho Cucamonga. Jim was appointed to the position by City Council in July 2020 following the announced retirement of Jim Frost, who had served as the City’s elected Treasurer since 1984. As Jim Harrington was unopposed for the November 2020 election, he will continue in the position through 2024.

Jim served on the RCCAAF Board since 2009, where he contributed his time and talents as Board Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary/Treasurer, as well as member at large. With a career in financial administration, Jim helped create the Foundation’s first investment policy and provided diligent supervision over the organizations financial welfare. While we were sorry to see Jim leave the board, we are delighted he will continue to share his wealth of financial knowledge and stability with the City of Rancho Cucamonga, one of our primary partners.  Congratulations, Jim, on this wonderful achievement!
