The Swing Fore the Arts Golf Tournament was a Hole-in-One!

This Monday, the Rancho Cucamonga Community & Arts Foundation held its annual Swing Fore the Arts Golf Tournament. This popular fundraiser raised money for local arts programs in Rancho Cucamonga. The funds will support scholarships for high school students, sponsorships for arts programming in K-12 schools, and assistance for arts non-profits that serve our community.

The event teed off bright and early at the Sierra Lakes Golf Club in Fontana, where Board members welcomed participants and golfers enjoyed a Grab-and-Go breakfast before heading out to the course. Despite the thick morning fog blanketing the green, participants eagerly teed off into what they jokingly referred to as “pea soup.” Thankfully, the clouds soon parted, giving way to sunshine, blue skies, and friendly competition among friends.

Adding to the excitement, the first hole featured a poker challenge and photos on the green for each foursome. Lunch featured amazing silent auction items, generously donated by members of our community, such as a signed jersey by Shaquille O’Neal, a PlayStation 5 handheld portable bundle, Laker tickets, beautifully assembled seasonal gift baskets, and much more.

The Swing Fore the Arts Golf Tournament remains one of the Foundation’s most anticipated annual events. Every swing and putt helps advance the Foundation’s mission to support arts education, public performances, and creative initiatives that enrich the Rancho Cucamonga community.

The Rancho Cucamonga Community & Arts Foundation extends heartfelt thanks to all of our generous sponsors, volunteers, raffle donors, and participants who made this year’s event such a tremendous success. We look forward to seeing you next year on the green!
