A Community Showcase that Spotlighted Local Talent
The Rancho Cucamonga Community and Arts Foundation extends a thank you to all the performers, teachers, parents, friends, and family members who joined us for the “Who We Are” celebration of diversity at the Lewis Family Playhouse. The evening showcased extraordinary talent from Alta Loma High School, Etiwanda High School, Los Osos High School, and Rancho Cucamonga High School choirs.
Students delivered powerful performances representing a wide variety of cultural and musical traditions, from Los Laureles, a traditional Mexican folk song, to the pop song Wicked Game by Chris Isaak. In addition, the program also featured Seize the Day from the Broadway musical Newsies and the timeless Scottish folk ballad The Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond, which dates back to the 1700s, to name a few. Together, these selections beautifully reflected the spirit of diversity, unity, and artistic excellence that defines Rancho Cucamonga.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Randall and Janell Lewis, along with U.S. Bank, for sponsoring this evening of song.
