The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical

“The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical” is a stage adaptation of Rick Riordan’s popular novel, “The Lightning Thief.” The musical follows Percy Jackson, a teenager with dyslexia and ADHD, who discovers he is a demigod, the son of Poseidon. Percy learns that he is part of a world of Greek gods and mythical creatures. When Zeus’s lightning bolt is stolen, Percy is accused of the theft and embarks on a quest to retrieve it and prevent a war among the gods. Along with his friends Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena, and Grover Underwood, a satyr, Percy faces various mythological challenges and monsters. Through humor, catchy songs, and dynamic performances, the musical explores themes of identity, bravery, and friendship as Percy grapples with his destiny and his place in the world of gods and heroes
