Fun for the whole family! Join us for Family Day at the Museum in celebration of the opening of our newest exhibition
SoCal Critters, featuring activities inspired by the exhibition with gallery tours, air dry clay workshops, cyanotype nature printing and live wheel-throwing demos!
AMOCA’s new exhibition pays homage to the whimsical ceramic animals sculpted by Howard Pierce throughout his career while celebrating our local wildlife and bringing awareness to conservation efforts. You’ll see familiar critters like cats and rabbits as well as wildlife native to our home in Pomona like coyotes and quails!
Tickets may be purchased at time of arrival as space allows, but pre-registration is highly encouraged.
Please arrive 10 minutes early for a fun and relaxed check-in process. Late admission is not guaranteed. Event is subject to cancellation if weather conditions are not ideal and refunds will be given out.
AMOCA’s family workshops are for all ages and everyone is welcome! Both adults and children will be given supplies to participate in the art project
- Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
- Registration includes the entire Family Day experience – admission, gallery tours, and clay class instruction and materials.
