Florence Arnold: Hard-Edge Innovator

Florence Arnold (1900-1994) was a committed, original artist who employed a style of geometric abstraction drenched in powerful color combinations. She was mentored by Karl Benjamin and exhibited with the Claremont group of hard-edge abstractionists. The CCMA is delighted to exhibit Arnold’s series, Theme in a Square from our permanent collection. Join us November 2nd for its opening reception, November 2nd, 2 PM to 4 PM!
